March is the heart of tourist high season in Barbados. While that will mean ideal weather, it will likely drive up the cost of accommodation, and limit availability.

Once you have decided to attend, we STRONGLY RECOMMEND you book accommodation as soon as possible. (See below for more on where the wedding party will be staying)

If you are a larger group or plan to stay in Barbados for several days or weeks, we highly recommend looking into renting an apartment or house. Popular sites for these properties include AirbnbVRBO and BlueSky Luxury Villas.

No matter where you stay, Barbados is famous for its hospitality and there are many options for those of you who are more individualistically minded!

Google Maps can help you gauge travel times around the island. Many hotels are currently offering 20-30% discounts for early booking that tend to expire in the autumn.

The wedding party will be staying in the St. Lawrence Gap area of Barbados, at the Sapphire Beach Condos to the east of Dover Beach.

"The Gap," is a tight concentration of hotels, restaurants, bars and fun marked with dots on the map above.

The west end of the street features a thriving nightlife (and is thus louder than the east end). The length of the dotted road above is 0.75mi/1.2km—about a 15 minute walk. Or 5 minutes if you are speedy like Jamilah.

There are a variety of places to stay within a 15 minute walk, and we've listed some suggested hotels below.  AirBnBs, VRBOs and other rentals are available as well. Search terms for the area are "St. Lawrence Gap"and "Dover Beach."
