Places to Eat

We both love food and eating! Here are some of our favorite places on the island.

** The Barbadian dollar is pegged at BBD$2 to US$1. When looking at prices on the linked websites, note which currency they are displaying **

Just Grillin'

This casual grill stop has several outlets around the island and makes delicious grilled fish, BBQ plates, and sandwiches to order.

NB: "Dolphin" is what many of you will know as "Mahi Mahi."

The Village Bar at Lemon Arbour

Want to eat real Bajan food with real Bajans? Go to the countryside Village Bar at Lemon Arbour.

You will find delicious food, charming ambiance and local prices. The trip up and the view are also a nice change from the beach.

NB: A local dish, Pudding & Souse is served on Saturdays. Its worth trying, but go on the early side as it is one of the busiest days.

MOJO's

Mojo's is a great pub serving delicious burgers and groovy tunes. It is perfect for a relaxed lunch or dinner and has a great patio.

Cocktail Kitchen

Fine dining quality at mid-range prices! Cocktail Kitchen is one of our favorite spots. The food is delightful and cocktails are dangerously good!

Buzo Osteria Italiana

Yummy pizzas, pastas and salads can be found at this upscale Italian restaurant. They also have a delicious cocktail menu.

Buzo shares a parking lot with the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel on the southern coast.

The Fish Pot

The Fish Pot is a gem! Located right on the beach, inside of what used to be an old fort, the restaurant is one of our absolute favorites—boasting both polished charm and excellent food.

If it's on the menu, order the grilled octopus!

$$$

Cin Cin by the Sea

This modern french-leaning restaurant is set over pristine beaches and provides an incredible venue for taking in the beauty of Barbados. The patio is gorgeous (as are the clientele) and the lounge boasts plentiful A/C.

We love going with friends to enjoy a long and luxurious lunch while sipping rose.

Be sure to call and make a reservation. Free valet parking is available.

Chefette

There is no McDonalds in Barbados. There are few international fast food chains in general. Why?

Chefette.

Burgers. Fried Chicken. Rotis. Pizza. Vegetarian. Even ice cream at the Rockley location. If the gods are smiling upon us, there will be Wing Dings (an irregularly-appearing special item) available to ring in our marriage.
